Color Theory Project 2) Josef Albers Color Interaction

Josef Ablers Color Interaction allows you achieve a sense of difference in colors using the same color. How to achieve this : For each category, use only one chip color on 2 different backgrounds.



The image above is an example of the difference in value. Here I used a green chip , to show the difference in value ( lightness or darkness). The chip on the left looks darker and more of a tree green while the chip on the right looks lighter like a lime green.


The image above is an example of the difference in hue. I used a red chip to show the change in color. On the left image the red chips looks red while on the right image the red chip looks maroon.


The image above is an example of the difference in saturation ( value and hue). Here I used a grey-ish looking chip. On the left image the chips looks lighter and grey. On the right the chip looks darker and blue.
